Lita Cabellut
Blood Wedding has united art and literature through two timeless geniuses: Federico García Lorca and Lita Cabellut, who reinterprets theatrical tragedy, portraying not only the characters, but also their souls. The result is a set of 90 works: 49 Faces and 41 Traces created especially for this edition.
A bilingual artist’s book in Spanish and English, numbered and limited to 1,998 copies (1,898 in Arabic numerals and 100 in Roman numerals), all signed by the artist.
The Art Book presents the complete text of Lorca’s tragedy, and a selection of 31 plates made by the artist, accompanied by quotes and fragments from the play.

ARTIKA® in partnership with ECLECTARTE® invites you to discover Blood Wedding that includes the print Love, designed to be exhibited. The 100 units with Roman numerals in this print are retouché à la main, 100 unique works retouched by the artist.
The Book of Studies shows Cabellut in all its essence, a journey through his artistic career led by Antoni Vila Casas, Robert C. Morgan, Francisco Carpio Olmos and Luis García Montero, which finally focuses on the 90 Faces and Traces from the series.
The Face and the Trace of the Moon make up the case. A unique composition of two bodies that house the Art Book inside, and that constitutes by itself an exceptional work of art.
